I Have Big News...

I'm Hosting a Women's Retreat in Bali!!

Today's the day! Though some of you know I've been putting something together for a while now, I'm excited to finally announce the specifics of this incredible group trip.

It will be for 8-10 women, for one week in Bali, from March 15 to March 21, 2020. We'll all join up on March 15th at our beautiful villa in Ubud, where we'll stay for the next three days. We'll hike to hidden waterfalls, visit 14th century temples, align our chakras in private yoga classes, learn new culinary skills in cooking classes, eat incredible meals prepared by private chefs, and spend time sightseeing, relaxing, getting massages, and bonding with one another.

On March 18th, we'll head to Seminyak, where we'll stay in another stunning villa for the remaining four days. There we will see more temples, dine at Bali's hottest restaurants, check out Seminyak's vibrant nightlife, and spend plenty of time at the beach. Those who have to get back to the grind will head to the airport on Saturday, March 21st, and will have a day to recover before heading back to work.

If 7 days in Bali isn't enough for you (I don't blame you), stay on for an additional three days. We'll move to another stunning villa by the beach in the southeastern part of Bali, where we'll visit a turtle conservation center and experience a more laid back side of the island. Then we'll spend Sunday on a private boat charter to Nusa Lembongan, where we'll snorkel, sunbathe, and free dive through an underwater temple garden. We'll spend the last full day either hitting up any spots we might have missed or lounging by the pool or at the beach. Then we'll head to the airport as a group on Tuesday, getting back into LAX that same day.

Space is limited to 10 women. Sign up early to claim your spot!

Cost for the 7 day trip: $2,700 for single occupancy; $2,500 for double occupancy. The 3 Day add-on option is just $600 for single occupancy and $500 for double occupancy. These prices include virtually everything but your flights! All lodging, listed activities and all meals are included. Also included are temple fees, a private driver, yoga classes, scheduled spa treatments, guides and gratuities for villa staff and drivers.

Hi, I'm Lauren!

I’m the California-based blogger behind Travel is the Cure. I’m a full time trial lawyer, but thankfully travel often for both work and pleasure. My true passion is travel−I love to wander, taste new food and embrace new experiences. I created this blog to help others plan their own travel, hopefully using my recommendations for where to stay, where to eat, and what to do in each of my favorite destinations. I hope this blog inspires and informs, and perhaps even just assists in recalling some of your favorite travel memories from places you've been as well.

I hope you enjoy.
